The CFPUA Board on Wednesday elected Wesley P. Corder as its chairman. Mr. Corder, who previously was Board vice-chairman, has served on the Board since his 2017 joint appointment by the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County.
Mr. Corder is President and CEO of Thomson, Corder and Co., a full-service civil construction firm.
Also on Wednesday, the Board elected William Norris as its vice-chairman. Mr. Norris has served on the CFPUA board since his appointment in 2013 by the City of Wilmington and was chairman from 2018 until Mr. Corder’s election. He is a Senior Vice President and Manager of Commercial Banking at First Citizens Bank.
